Calvin “Cal” Hughes, Employee of the Quarter

Calvin “Cal” Hughes, serving as a Deployable Virtual Training Environment (DVTE) Analyst with Team Camp Lejeune, was recently recognized as the Mobius Employee of the Quarter for the 2nd Quarter of 2013 for his steadfast devotion to Mobius’ Shared Values at a ceremony held at the II MEF Simulation Center located at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on 7 August 2013.

Prior to being rebadged to Mobius’ Team Camp Lejeune, Cal served as a DVTE Analyst with Cubic Applications Incorporated from June 2007 to May 2010.

Tony Pino, Employee of the Quarter

Tony Pino, serving as an intelligence analyst on the TECOM AtN Training Team (TATT) Exercise Design Team, was recently recognized as the Mobius Employee of the Quarter for the 1st Quarter of 2013.

Prior to joining the Mobius Team in July 2011, Tony served as a Marine Team plank holder at the Joint Training C-IED Operations Integration Center (JTCOIC), later re-designated as the Training Brain Operations Center (TBOC), where he prepared soldiers and Marines for future threats through focused intelligence analysis of pre-deployment units’ future areas of operation.

James “Woody” Biggs, Employee of the Year

The MOBIUS Employee of the Year for 2012, Mr. James “Woody” Biggs, was and remains the Lead Contractor for developing all intelligence related information and scenario activity for all classified exercises supported by the MAGTF Staff Training Program (MSTP). The large scale exercises he supported included Bold Alligator 12 (the largest Amphibious Exercise in the Marine Corps during the last 11 years), and Exercise Unified Endeavor/MRX-13 which was prepared and executed to support the return of II MEF to Afghanistan. Also supported were smaller but equally difficult exercises including support to the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) at Fort Leavenworth Kansas and the School of Advanced Warfighting (SAW) at Quantico, Virginia.

My Journey with Mobius

When I applied for a Cultural Role Player position at Mobius Industries, I was hopeful but unsure I would be offered a job. In January 2013, I got a call from Humaira, a team lead at Ft. Polk, who offered me a place on the next rotation, which would be starting in just a few days. I was excited to get the news, until I realized that my citizenship ceremony fell on a day during the rotation. I had been looking forward to my citizenship ceremony and it was incredibly important to me, but so was the opportunity to work for Mobius. I asked Humaira if it was possible for me to attend both: to work the rotation but leave for one day so that I could also attend my ceremony.

Caleb Nehls, Employee of the Year

We would like to congratulate Caleb Nehls, a Tactics Subject Matter Expert with the III MEF Advisor Training Cell, for being recognized as Mobius Industries’ Employee of the Year for 2011. Caleb was presented the award at a ceremony held on Camp Hansen in Okinawa, Japan where Caleb has been a key Mobius contributor since joining the team in Japan in 2009.
